A family business on the Coast since 1987
John Hull Electrics has carried the same name on the Central Coast for nearly four decades. It started in 1987, it's still in the family, and it still runs the same way. One van, one set of standards, and nobody in between you and the technician.
Mark Hull runs the business and does the repairs. He's been fixing appliances for close to 28 years now, and he trained at TAFE Newcastle in refrigeration and air conditioning as well as electrical. Ring during the day and he's usually the one who picks up. Ring after hours and you'll get a call back.
That matters more than it sounds. When you book a repair with us, you're not being handed to whoever happens to be free. You've already spoken to the person who'll be standing in your kitchen, and he's usually got a fair idea of what's wrong before he arrives.
We carry a lot of parts on hand, so most repairs are completed on the spot rather than us having to keep coming back.
What nearly four decades gets you
Nearly four decades of Central Coast repairs doesn't show up as a plaque on the wall. It shows up in the small things. The part already being on board. The fault being recognised from the noise it makes. The honest answer about whether a machine is worth spending money on.
Parts in the service van
Knowing what breaks on the Coast means knowing what to stock. The service van carries the common parts for the brands filling local kitchens and laundries, Bosch and Miele included. Most repairs get finished on the first visit instead of waiting a fortnight for a part to turn up.
Two trades, one call
Your technician is a licensed electrician and an ARCtick certified refrigeration and air conditioning technician. Oven, fridge, washing machine, split system, or the wiring behind any of them, you don't have to work out who to ring first. One call covers the lot.

We're based at Saratoga and we work from Patonga in the south to Berkeley Vale in the north, and out west to Somersby. Same suburbs, same housing stock, same appliances, year after year. A good number of our customers we know by name.
Backed in writing
Every appliance repair is backed by our 12 month warranty on parts and labour. If the same fault comes back, so do we. New air conditioning installations carry a 5 year installation warranty from us, on top of the manufacturer's own warranty on the unit.
