Bosch Repairs Central Coast, Fixed on the First Visit
Bosch dishwasher throwing an error code, or a washer that won't spin? We're an independent local repairer with Bosch parts in the service van, so most faults are sorted on the first visit rather than the third. Family-run on the Central Coast since 1987.
You'll speak to the technician, not a call centre.

Bosch dishwashers
The Bosch we get called to most. Error codes on the display, water not draining, poor wash results, or a machine that will not start a cycle.
- Drain pumps, hoses and filters
- Inlet valves and leak sensors
- Door seals, catches and spray arms
Bosch washing machines and dryers
Front loaders that will not spin or drain, that trip the safety switch, or that have started shaking the laundry floor. Heat pump dryers running cold.
- Pumps, belts and bearings
- Door seals and interlocks
- Heat pump and element faults
Bosch ovens and cooktops
Ovens running off temperature, failed elements and fans, and induction cooktops throwing error codes.
- Elements, fans and thermostats
- Induction control boards
- Door seals, hinges and glass
Independent Bosch repairs, and when they make sense
Bosch is common enough on the Coast that you have a choice. We would rather you made it with the facts than be told we are the only option.
When authorised service is the right call
The appliance is still inside its manufacturer's warranty
The fault is covered by a recall or a service action
You want the repair recorded with the manufacturer
When independent makes sense
The warranty has run out
You would rather have it looked at than sit in a queue
Bosch parts are already in the service van
We will tell you which one you are in. If your machine is still covered by the manufacturer's warranty, going outside it can affect that cover, and we will say so on the phone rather than take the job.
Common Bosch faults we see
Bosch appliances fail in patterns, and after enough of them you know which parts to have on board before you knock on the door.
Dishwasher not draining
Water sitting in the bottom at the end of a cycle. Usually the drain pump, a blocked filter, or the non-return valve.
Error codes on the display
An E-code points at a system rather than a single part. We read the code, then test the circuit behind it rather than swapping parts and hoping.
A wet base, or a machine that has shut itself down
Many Bosch dishwashers watch for water in the base and stop the machine when they find it. That is the appliance doing its job. The leak is what needs finding.
Washing machine won't spin
Often the drive belt, the motor brushes, or a pump blockage stopping the drain cycle from finishing.
The machine won't start
A door catch that isn't registering, an interlock, or a control board fault. We check the catch first because it's the cheapest of the three.
Poor wash or dry results
Dishes coming out gritty, or a load still damp at the end. Spray arms, filters, heating elements and sensors are the usual suspects.
Oven running off temperature
Thermostat or sensor. Worth fixing properly on a Bosch rather than living with an oven you have to second-guess.
Tripping the safety switch
An appliance that trips the circuit is telling you something. Your technician is a licensed electrician as well as an appliance repairer, so the appliance and the circuit both get checked.

Bosch and Siemens
Bosch and Siemens appliances are both built by BSH Hausgeräte, which the Bosch Group has wholly owned since 2015. They share a great deal of engineering, so the parts overlap and so do the fault patterns.
In practice that means a Siemens dishwasher or oven is familiar ground. The same diagnostic approach, and often the same part off the same shelf in the service van.
If you have a Siemens appliance and you have struggled to find someone local who will look at it, ring us. We also repair Miele appliances, and you can see every appliance we repair on the Central Coast.
What Central Coast locals say
Bosch repair FAQs
Are you an authorised Bosch service agent?
No. We're an independent repairer. For a machine out of warranty that usually works in your favour: we're local, we carry Bosch parts, and you're not waiting on a service queue. Where you do want authorised service is a warranty claim, a recall or a service action, and we'll tell you if that's your situation rather than take the job.
How much does a Bosch repair cost on the Central Coast?
We charge a service call fee and we'll tell you exactly what it is when you ring, before we come out. Parts and labour are quoted before any work starts. Because we carry Bosch parts, you're usually paying for one visit rather than a diagnostic trip and a return trip.
Do you carry Bosch parts?
Yes, the common ones. Drain pumps, inlet valves, seals, elements, thermostats and catches live in the service van, which is why most Bosch repairs finish on the first visit. A model-specific control board still has to be ordered, and we'll tell you that on the phone rather than after we've taken your callout fee.
Do you repair Siemens appliances too?
Yes. Bosch and Siemens appliances come out of the same manufacturer, so the parts and the faults overlap. If you have a Siemens dishwasher, oven or washing machine, we are on familiar ground.
My Bosch dishwasher is showing an error code. Can you tell me what it means over the phone?
Tell us the code when you ring and we'll give you a fair idea of what we're looking at and whether it's likely to be a first-visit fix. What we won't do is diagnose it properly without seeing it, because a code points at a system, not a part.
Is it worth repairing a Bosch or should I replace it?
Usually worth repairing. A failed pump, element or door seal on an otherwise sound machine costs a fraction of a new appliance plus installation. Where a repair stops making sense, normally a control board failure on an older machine with a history behind it, we'll say so before you spend anything.
How quickly can you get to me?
Ring us and you'll know before you hang up. We answer the phone seven days, 7am to 7pm, and repairs are booked Monday to Friday. If we can't get to you as fast as you need, we'll say so on the call.
Which suburbs do you cover?
The whole Central Coast, including Gosford, Erina, Terrigal, Woy Woy, Umina Beach, Kincumber and Avoca Beach, from Patonga in the south to Berkeley Vale in the north and Somersby in the west.
Broken appliance? Let's get it fixed.
One call, a straight answer, and a service van full of parts. That's how it's worked since 1987.
