Independent Miele repairs, and why that suits you
We are an independent repairer. We are not authorised by Miele and we don't pretend to be. What we are is local, with Miele parts already on board.

Common Miele parts already in the service van
Most repairs finished on the first visit
There is one situation where the manufacturer is the right call, and we'll tell you rather than take the job: a warranty claim on a near-new machine. Going outside the manufacturer can affect a warranty that's still running, so if that's where you are, we'll say so on the phone.
Common Miele faults we see
Miele appliances tend to fail in predictable ways, which is exactly what makes them worth stocking parts for.
Dishwasher not draining
Water sitting in the bottom after a cycle. Usually the drain pump, the non-return valve, or a blocked filter housing.
Error codes on the display
A Miele fault code points at a system rather than a single part. We read the code, then test the circuit behind it rather than guessing at parts.
Washing machine won't spin
Often the drive belt, the motor brushes, or a pump blockage stopping the drain cycle from finishing.
Poor wash or dry results
Dishes coming out gritty, or a load still damp at the end. Spray arms, filters, heating elements and sensors are the usual suspects.
The machine won't start
A door catch that isn't registering, an interlock, or a control board fault. The catch is the cheapest of the three and it's the first thing we check.
Water leaks
From the door seal, the inlet hose or the sump. Worth attending to quickly on a built-in machine, before it reaches the cabinetry.
Oven running off temperature
Thermostat or sensor. On a Miele it's worth fixing properly rather than living with it, because the rest of the oven will outlast the part.
Noisy drum or bearings
A rumble that gets worse on the spin cycle. Bearings are a bigger job, and it's one where you'll get a straight repair or replace answer before we start.

Miele is built to be repaired
Premium appliances like Miele are built so that parts can be replaced rather than the whole machine binned. That is most of the reason people pay for them in the first place.
It's also why replacing one over a single fault is usually the wrong call. A failed pump, element, thermostat or door seal on a machine with years left in it costs a fraction of a new appliance plus installation, and you keep the machine you chose.
We'll also tell you when that maths stops working. A machine with a failed control board and a history of faults behind it may not be worth spending on, and you'll get that answer straight rather than a quote.
We repair Bosch appliances on the same basis, and you can see every appliance we repair on the Central Coast.
What Central Coast locals say
Miele repair FAQs
Are you authorised by Miele?
No. We're an independent repairer, and for most faults that works in your favour. An authorised call usually means a technician travelling up from Sydney and a wait while your kitchen is short an appliance. We're on the Coast with Miele parts already in the van. The one place you do want the manufacturer is a warranty claim on a near-new machine, and we'll tell you if that's your situation.
How much does a Miele repair cost on the Central Coast?
We charge a service call fee and we'll tell you exactly what it is when you ring, before we come out. Parts and labour are quoted before any work starts. Because we carry Miele parts, you're usually paying for one visit rather than a diagnostic trip and a return trip.
Do you actually carry Miele parts?
Yes, the common ones. Pumps, seals, elements, thermostats, catches and hoses live in the service van, which is why most Miele repairs finish on the first visit. A model-specific control board still has to be ordered, and we'll tell you that on the phone rather than after we've taken your callout fee.
Is it worth repairing a Miele or should I replace it?
Almost always worth repairing. These are machines built so parts can be swapped, and a failed pump or element on an otherwise sound appliance costs a fraction of replacing it. Where a repair stops making sense, usually a major board failure on a machine with a history behind it, we'll say so before you spend anything.
Which Miele appliances do you repair?
Dishwashers, washing machines, dryers, ovens, cooktops and fridges. Domestic appliances in your home, on the Central Coast.
My Miele is showing an error code. Can you tell me what it means over the phone?
Tell us the code when you ring and we'll give you a fair idea of what we're looking at and whether it's likely to be a first-visit fix. What we won't do is diagnose it properly without seeing it, because a code points at a system, not a part.
How quickly can you get to me?
Ring us and you'll know before you hang up. We answer the phone seven days, 7am to 7pm, and repairs are booked Monday to Friday. If we can't get to you as fast as you need, we'll say so on the call.
Which suburbs do you cover?
The whole Central Coast, including Terrigal, Avoca Beach, Wamberal, Saratoga, Green Point, Kincumber, Erina and Gosford, from Patonga in the south to Berkeley Vale in the north and Somersby in the west.
